Default Questions for Nader Nakib

Future Movement Forum is proud to announce that Mr. Nader Nakib, president of Future Youth Association, will join us for an online discussion with the members of our forum on Thu. August the 11th, 2005.

To eliminate confusion, and to have an organized discussion with Mr. Nakib, we came out with a system that will ease the whole process:

Members can have the option of either posting questions under this thread from now until Thursday, or to join the chatroom on Thursday 9:00pm Beirut time. We will get all of your questions and address them to Mr. Nakib, who will answer the questions, while all the members will be able to see the questions being asked and answered by Mr. Nakib Live via a separate window, and they will not have the chance to talk to him directly. So, you will see the log of the questions being asked and answered.

Note that the questions should be mainly related to the Future Youth association, Tayyar Almustaqbal and the political and social Lebanese situation in general, keeping in mind that any off topic post and/or silly comments will be deleted from the thread and may cause the writer a ban.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

Feel free to address your questions starting from now, unless you would like to address it online to Mr. Nakib on Thursday, through any of the moderators at our chat room.

Future Movement Fourm Staff.

Mia first u cant run for FYA elections as per the internal rules you have to be a member for the past 4 years and you cant run for the elections its because only youth is allowed in it you should be under 25. after that you leave FYA to become FM member. Unless u are granted special priviliges by the president in this case Nader.

Nader has served a 4 year presedency and he was re elected 2 weeks ago for another 4 years presedency which will end up running in the 2009 elections on Sheikh Saad list.

FYA has all the FM youth in it and cover all the Lebanese Universities and now newly created a section for students in their final year in school.

I am sorry to despoint you Mia but running for elections in FYA is impossible per the rules taking into consideration that FYA is the only liscenced Association in FM.

I the users cannot directly interact with the guest , what is the purpose of the online chat? Wouldn't it be easier to collect questions on the forum and let the guest aswer them on the forum?

This way you'll be able to ask and the guest will be able to see your question, the other way the guest will be lost with all the members question in the same time, we want it to be a moderated discussion that satisfy all.

Hi Nader,

Mohammad Tabbara posting from Melbourne, Australia. Here are my questions:

1. Are there any contact details for the Future Movement in Australia and what is its relationship to the Future Movement and FYA? There may or may not be an FYA in Australia but I would like to volunteer in helping out in whatever way I can to get the group started here in Melbourne.

2. On more general political terms, how does the FM stand on a progression to a secular political system? We all heard the the lyrics "mabadna ta2ifiye" initially but the election proved that may Lebanese are still stuck in the sectarian mindset (no fault of the FM).

3. Lastly, does the FYA conduct any activities with youth groups aligned with other political movements? e.g. LF or FPM youth groups.

Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!

My question to Mr. Nader,

What are the steps that FYA took and maybe still is taking to communicate with other youth movements? How did these attempts get affected by the fierce elections? What are the points the FYA has in common with the other movements? What points need dialogue?

Thank you
